Lush masks are rad. Lush masks that you don’t have to keep in the fridge are even radder. So, naturally, when Lush came out with Cup O’ Coffee, I was all over it.
The first and most obvious question is: “How does it stack up vs. Mask of Magnaminty?”
I still like Mask of Mag better, only because I feel like the minty-ness of it really cleans up my skin. Cup O’ Coffee is awesome for exfoliating, and it’s a great mask for the cold winter months because it has a certain warmth and sweetness to it. It’s a solid alternative for anyone who doesn’t like the tingly mint of mask of mag, but still wants an awesome face mask.
I guess the next, less obvious question is “What does it smell like?”
Well, coffee, duh. It also has hints of sweetness from the agave, so you may have a slight urge to eat it. Don’t eat it.
You shouldn’t eat it because this mask is full of other awesome, though non-delicious, ingredients.
Cup O’ Coffee is made of: Organic Agave Syrup (Agave tequilana) , Kaolin , Glycerine ,Coffee Infusion (Coffea Arabica) , Talc , Ground Coffee (Coffea arabica) , Bentone (Hectorite) , Fragrance , Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides) , Water (Aqua) , Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla Planifolia) , Roasted Cocoa Extract (Theobroma Cacao) , Coriander Seed Oil (Coriandrum sativum) , Caffeine Powder , *Coumarin , *Limonene , *Linalool. *Occurs naturally in essential oils
If you’re thinking to yourself that it kind of looks like poop, and that upon wearing it you may look like a bit of a poop face, then you are absolutely right. But, what’s the fun of life if you never take any risks? It’s not like anyone looks good wearing a face mask so just own it.
Cup O’ Coffee left my skin feeling really soft, hydrated, and clean. I would absolutely recommend it. You can pick it up online or in any Lush store.
Anyone else tried this mask? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to tweet me as well!
