Girl Tries Muscle Madness Rolling Massage Stick

As a frequent gym-goer, I both welcome sore muscles and hate them at the same time. The up side? You know you worked hard and that your muscles are getting stronger. The down side? It hurts to function. That’s why when Dance Crazy offered to send me their muscle rolling stick for free in exchange for my honest review, I was all for it.

Typically, I just use a foam roller at the gym. This muscle roller stick is not foam, but all plastic. The way you use it is you roll the entire stick over your sore muscles to help increase blood flow, soothe them, and reduce soreness. The orange and black parts all individually roll, and the stick is heavy so you don’t need to apply too much pressure.

What I like about the stick is that it’s small, and it’s pretty effective. You could put this stick in your gym bag, and it would probably fit in most backpacks. It’s easy to use, and it feels nice on achy muscles. All 7 of the rollers move smoothly- it’s a well made stick.

I do; however, have some qualms with it. First, as I mentioned, it is heavy. While it’s small enough to throw in a gym bag, it could be annoying given its weight. Also, because you’re manually rolling it, it’s hard to reach certain spots. Maybe if you have someone else help you out, you can get better coverage.

Overall, for someone who is just starting out, this is a good tool. If you’re a more serious athlete, I would advise massages/foam rolling as an alternative.

You can pick up one of these massage rollers on Amazon for just $14.95.
