Girl Tries Lush Pearl Massage Bar

Continuing with my deep-rooted addiction to Lush, I’m trying yet another massage bar. This one is called “Pearl,” presumably because of the little pearls on top of it. Here’s the scoop on this sweet-smelling bar:

How it looks: Like a disease under a microscope, but also kind of pretty.

It’s a great shape that’s pretty easy to maneuver all over your body, which is a definite plus. A word of warning, though- The pink color comes off onto your hands, and if you’re not mindful, you can get it on your clothes/face/other important stuff. Just be wary when using it that you rub it all the way into your skin so you don’t have any pink residue.

What it’s made of:

Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao) ,Sago (Metroxylon rumphii) , Fair Trade Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) , Propylene Glycol , Glycerine ,Fragrance , Argan Oil (Argania spinosa) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Rose Oil (Rosa damascena) , Egyptian Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) , *Citral, *Limonene , *Linalool , Citronellol , Coumarin , Geraniol ,Red 27 . *Occurs naturally in essential oils

How it smells:  Like Rose Jam (score).

If you’ve read previous posts, you know that I love the Rose Jam scent from Lush. It’s fruity, floral, and sweet, all at the same time. It’s super pleasant, and not overpowering, so I basically want to smell like it always.

How it feels: Awesome.

It leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, and smelling delicious. If you use too much, it can leave you a bit oily, so just use it sparingly.

You can buy Pearl here.

  1. Your description of how it looks really made me laugh 🙂 This is on my to-buy list! I think it’s one of the better smelling massage bars. Some of them are just weird to me.
